Alternative Health Center

Amanda Levitt, Robin Ritterman, Joshua Levitt
The term "alternative medicine" can mean a lot of things. Most people assume that alternative and natural medicine doctors are anti-Western medicine. That's not the case with Whole Health's three naturopathic physicians. Amanda Levitt and her husband Joshua, and Robin Ritterman (also a licensed acupuncturist), aim to treat their whole patient, not just the symptoms.
"A lot of people are surprised at how not-alternative it is," says Joshua.
Amanda adds "We don't wave sage at you!"
"Our philosophy is to use the most gentle things we can to treat the whole person," says Ritterman. The three opened this practice a little more than three years ago after spending time at other practices (and, yes, they absolutely love what they do).
While they all practice general natural family medicine, each also specializes in different areas. Amanda sees women and children, and also specializes in digestive disorders. Joshua focuses on men's health, chronic disease management and musculoskeletal problems. Ritterman specializes in Chinese medicine and acupuncture, women and fertility, and smoking cessation. And this is cool: Treating specific and everyday problems enables a family to be treated by the same group of doctors.
