You no longer have to leave your toilet lids up and an open bag of cat food on the floor to ensure your cats' well being while you bask in the sun on vacation (we joke about the toilet; we know you'd never do that). Captain Kitt?s cats-only kennel will pamper your feline friend with catnip cocktails, plenty of toys and a variety of kitty-entertaining "surf & turf" views, including aquariums, parakeet cages, and for those lucky enough to stay in the window suites, bird feeders on the grounds.

Owners Tim Ziegler and Valentina DaCosta are former in-home pet sitters who wanted to continue caring for animals, but all the traveling and time demands wore on them. They decided to build cat boarding "suites" in their home, which makes them available around the clock to look after the cats. Better yet: They work closely with area veterinarians to ensure the animals' health and safety. Rest assured knowing that when you're on vacation, your cats are, too.
